I must say I thoroughly enjoyed reading through the Freemans’ chapter on HTML and CSS basics. They do an excellent job of writing for the totally ignorant. I was proud when I finished the Starbuzz Coffee’s mission statement page and home page listing the drinks available. The steps were so clear, I encountered very few problems. I think the turtle-necked boss will be pleased (he has such low expectations after all).
The one thing I found irritating is how much Bluefish tries to help you code–all the automatic tags and indents threw me off a bit but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Also I’m sure I could explore how to turn that off. I’d be interested to learn (if there are) keyboard commands for the HTML environment in this program.
